Productive Weekend!

This weekend started with an early trip to the NEXXT Warehouse Sale! Yahoo! Decor items here we come. We got there just before 9am and there was a line...of course. Not too long of a wait to get in. BBM my brother and wife--'where are you?' They were running a few minutes, late, but no worries, arrived shortly after we got in.
Lucky, I got a cart and as quick as we got it, it shortly filled up with picture frames, pillows, pillow cases and lots of wall art. Just under $200 later, we headed to our next stop.







Prima Lighting to pick up our replacement S&C light fixture, and then headed to
Bassett Furniture to order our bed. Had to take a real life photo :)


Next stop, Centura Tile: closed for computer conversion! Imagine! So much for that, can't choose our ensuite shower tile.

Continued our way to the west end and headed to LYZ granite and marble. Found our counter top! Sweet Quartz! How it compliments our floor tile.

Long weekend progress

Tiled all installed for the jack and jill shower and grout is being applied. Looks alot darker then what was printed on the package, nontheless, the grout colours matchs perfectly!





Vanity installed, but wrong size countertop...because, we picked up off the shelf 'kitchen' cabinets and my FIL ordered bathroom depth counter top--oops! We'll have to use that countertop, some place else...maybe for my future office?

Long weekend, upcoming!

Having a few friends over for the long weekend. A bbq planned for this Saturday. Weather forecast calls for rain- but fingers crossed, it will be wrong.

Lots to do, clean and prepare. That's always expected when guests arrive and they are due to deserve a good time!

Of course, there's always room to work on the house..hopefully I can squeeze in a trip to Bowring and purchase this sexy piece of wall art (the candle holders) not the painting :)
